PH During Flowering

Flowering PH:

Ph during flowering can make or break your total size, quantity, and quality of bud and terpene results. Soilless mediums such as Fox Farm, Roots Organic, Pro-Mix, Mixasoil, etc. are all soilless potting mixes. This means there is no sand, silt, or clay in the soil, therefore PH range should be 5.7-6.2. A good example of this is the weight of the bag, top soils and regular dirt’s are very heavy to lift, to where soilless medium is much lighter.

PH During Flowering Parameter For Micronutrients:

When flowering cannabis, the PH should be below 6.5 in order for micronutrients to be readily available. Micronutrients start to be locked out above 6.4 PH, we recommend 6.0-6.2. Signs of high PH in flower are yellow or brown leaf tips, along with excessive yellowing and browning of leaves. Red and Purple leaves and veins are also prevalent unless it is genetically induced.

Phosphorus & Potassium:

Keep your nutrients in check at all times in flower, including the beginning of 12/12 time switch. When you switch your time to 12/12 you should keep your medium PH 6.2 or lower to stop potassium and phosphorus lockout. Signs of lockout of potassium and phosphorus are premature yellowing starting around week 1-1/2 to week 3. To correct this issue, add bloodmeal to the top of the soil, and use aluminum sulfate mixed in your watering

Directions:

After mixing 3/4 tbs bloodmeal per gallon of soil into top of soil, mix 1-1/2 tsp aluminum sulphate to 1/2 to 1 gallon of water.
